Jordan has served as Deputy Director of Internal Audit at Mississippi State University since March 2025. She provides strategic oversight of internal audit operations, which include IT audits, consulting projects, investigations into fraud, waste, and abuse, and management of the university’s hotline.
With a longstanding commitment to MSU, Jordan has played a pivotal role in shaping the university’s audit function over the years. She began her career at MSU as an Audit Manager and quickly advanced to Associate Director, demonstrating her leadership and expertise. After a successful stint in a leadership capacity within the Alumni division, she returned to Internal Audit to lead IT audits, fraud investigations, and consulting projects.
A seasoned audit professional in higher education, Jordan brings a wealth of expertise and a proven record of advancing effective audit practices. She earned dual degrees in International Business (with an emphasis in Business and Spanish) and a Master of Business Administration from MSU. In addition, she has actively contributed to the field by serving on several peer review teams and presenting at national internal audit conferences on MSU’s internal audit practices. Jordan also holds certifications as a Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Fraud Examiner.
